Sorry for being late. Last weekend was a killer with work and I was exhausted. But I finally dusted off my round tuit and so here we go. I have heard two things about these episodes before I watch them. One, that the wise men show up at the manger. Two, that satan looks like Obama.

...My mixed feelings on this show remain mixed.

My original feeling was that I wasn't going to watch this series. At all. But then my boss told me it was actually good and in the spirit of fair play, I have decided to give it a shot.

It took me all of about six seconds to decide I wanted to keep a record of my thoughts as I watched. This commentary is kept in the style of the now defunct FringeDweller's Guide commentaries, where I'm simply going to post whatever I had to say and let the reader figure out on their own what it goes to.

So, here we go.

In The Beginning )

Exodus )

Okay, first two episodes. Overall, mega-cheese with a side order of cheese. But not as bad as I was afraid. Keith David as narrator is seriously weirding me out, though. And I knew they'd have to condense things, but this is a super-fast-forwarded version of the Bible.
